  • First Aid – Administering limited first aid to the sick or injured until skilled medical personnel arrives.
  • Prevention & Support – Applying proactive and preventative strategies to manage sudden, intense or out of control behaviors.
  • Direct Care Worker (DCW) training – SAFS is an approved program by AHCCCS to provide training for Direct Care Workers who provide direct care services (Attendant Care, Personal Care, and Homemaker) to ALTCS members residing in their own home.
  • Cultural Diversity – Developing a deeper appreciation for the religious, ethnic, and social differences that exist between people.
  • Blood Borne Pathogens – Preventing the spread of bloodborne pathogens.
  • American Sign Language (ASL) – We provide beginner, intermediate and advanced ASL classes, a complete, complex language that employs signs made with the hands and other movements, including facial expressions.
